it says gen2+ and it is gen2+. item is solid and good quality, not plastic. images have slightly different colors because of phone camera, the phosphor color is more like the first image Has auto gain but no autogating. it does shut itself off if it’s too bright which is sufficient.  overall would recommend this to a friend who wanted cheap night vision and didn’t live in the states

This is a high quality and comfortable soft helmet. It is easy to adjust. The padding is molded  and firmly attached to the injection molded parts with hook and loop. I tried it on and my wife tells me that I look like less of an idiot than she expected. :-) Anyway, good value for money, good delivery and dealing with the company was a pleasure. Would I buy from them again? Yes.
